Global Privacy Policy – Thailand Country-Specific Exhibit

This Thailand Country-Specific Exhibit applies where GLOBAL EDGE CAREERS CO., LTD. processes the personal information of individuals residing in Thailand. If you reside in Thailand and receive our services, you should read this Exhibit together with the Global Privacy Policy, as it provides additional details and requirements applicable under Thai data protection law.

The provisions of each Article described below are supplementary to the provisions of the respective Articles with the same numbers and same titles of the Global Privacy Policy unless otherwise specifically stipulated in such Article below.

3. Legal basis, etc. for processing

Notwithstanding those as described in Article 2. “Purposes of collection or other processing” of the Global Privacy Policy, we use your personal information for the purposes described as below, based on the legal basis set out for each purpose. In many instances, we need to process your personal information in order to fulfil our obligations under the contracts with you or comply with any laws and regulations. If you do not provide the personal information requested, we may not be able to provide our services to you. As for the retention period, please see Article 4. “Retention period for personal information” of the Global Privacy Policy.

Further to the Global Privacy Policy, we will retain your personal information for as long as it is necessary but not exceeding ten years after the termination of the contractual relationship with you. We may, however, store your personal information longer than that if required by law.

6. Overseas transfer of personal information

As we do not have a subsidiary in Thailand, please be informed that, in order to receive our services, it will be necessary for you to provide your personal information for transfer to other countries, in particular to our headquarters in Japan, for the purposes set out in this Exhibit. In cases where we are required to transfer or disclose personal information to a foreign country, we will implement appropriate safeguards and ensure that such transfers are made in compliance with applicable personal information protection laws.
